Territory Sales Manager – Russia KEY RESPONSIBILITY As a key member of Pentair’s Global Ag field sales team, to manage allocated direct customer accounts and sales activities in the assigned territory (Russia). The goal is to achieve or exceed annual sales targets and other objectives in a professional manner, as an integral part of a long term sustainable business growth strategy. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute comprehensive annual territory sales plans and programmes to meet the sales objectives of the organization. Sales growth of Global Ag product brands in the territory through the addition of new channels and customers. 3.Key account management in assigned territory to maintain and grow sales of Global Ag product brands Pricing reviews and to oversee the correct application of pricing and discounts within assigned approval levels in pursuit of sales and profitability targets. Regular territory demand forecasting inputs to the SIOP process. 6. New product input and customer feedback to the internal organization, including voice of the customer. Plan and participate in local trade shows and customer events. Input to advertising and promotion activities including print, online, and electronic media. PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Technical: Engineering qualification – degree in mechanical / agricultural engineering or similar Experience of, and skilled in, successfully selling either fluid handling products, including pumps, or agricultural machinery. Able to understand customer engineering requirements relating to the application of Global Ag products. Computer literate – familiar with the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, e.g. SAP, MFG/PRO, for selling purposes. Proficient with use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Desired Technical: Experience of agro chemical spraying applications Essential Commercial: Experience of selling in Russia Experience of developing a new sales territory Basic understanding of business finance Desired Commercial: Experience of emerging market business development Experience of marketing Experience of new product introduction projects Proficient understanding of business finance Essential Personal: Fluent in Russian and English (spoken and written) Interpersonal skills, including ability to understand and adapt to different cultures. Communications skills – including first class formal presentation skills Customer liaison skills - able to work across a broad customer base ranging from global corporation to small owner managed businesses. Able to contribute to business development and planning Self motivation Organisational skills Can do, positive outlook. Desired Personal: Leadership skills Essential Other: Location - able to work out of Pentair Moscow Office or Krasnodar. Ability to travel both nationally and internationally – the role will require 50-75% of the time to be spent in the field achieving sales. Periodic trips to the USA and Europe for training, sales meetings etc. will also be required. Full driving licence
